Josh Stockhill, a brave 4-year-old boy from the UK, who defied the odds twice by defeating leukaemia, finally got the chance to enjoy his first day of school.
His parents were initially worried that they would never see their son in a school uniform.
Josh was 8 months old when he was first diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and had to undergo chemotherapy. After a month of chemo, the boy developed sepsis and had to be in intensive care.

His mother, Kirsty Knighton told several news sources that the doctors gave a 50/50 chance for the baby boy to make it through the night.
After nine months of chemotherapy treatment, Josh relapsed again and required a bone marrow transplant to survive.
Josh was fortunate as the hospital he was in, Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, found a match from Spain.
As of this week, after going through a tough 4 years, Josh finally put on his uniform, clutched his bag and had a great time in school.
Great job Josh, glad you’re feeling better!
